1. POSITION:  Project Manager

Required academic qualifications, skill and attitudes:
  • Master degree in business administration, project management, public administration.
  • Minimum of 7 Years’ experience of working in large scale developments projects with international agencies in Nepal especially related to the private sector development, market promotion, etc. in agriculture. Experience with the CGIAR or USAID-funded projects in Nepal will be an asset.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting administration, management and implementation of large scale agriculture development projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent software knowledge, use, and handling skills.

2. POSITION:  Business Development Services Analyst

Required academic qualifications, skill and attitudes:
  • Masters of Arts/ Science in field related to agriculture economics, agri-business management, development of agri-input markets, and agri-value chains from a recognized institution. Relevant Ph.D. is an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of the seed markets in Nepal.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in building agri-input business in Nepal especially related to the private sector development.
  • Demonstrated success in using value chain approaches and best practices for developing agriculture seeds sector in Nepal.
  • Experience in building capacity of partners in business plan development; linking with banks and financial sectors including developing partnerships and business models in close association with SEAN and other membership based agencies in Nepal.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and Nepali.
  • A high degree of personal organization and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure, as well as travel extensively.

3.  POSITION:       Assistant Research Associate (ARA)

  • Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or related fields with at least 2 years of experience in cereal-based cropping systems or a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or related fields with 3+ years of field management experience in cereal-based cropping systems.
  • Lead a team of officers in scaling sustainable agricultural intensification technologies, supporting strategic partnerships with governmental, non-governmental, and private sector organizations, liaising with farming cooperatives and farmer communities, and ensuring project goals.
  • Minimum 2-year commitment is required.
  • Motorbike license is compulsory.

4. POSITION:         Field Research Technician (FRT)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or related fields with 1-2 years of field experience.

  • Strong ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Job Description:

  • Identify problems and suggest corrective action concerning programmatic issues.

Job Specification:

Position: M&E Officer, Head Office, Lalitpur (one)

Job Description:
  • Lead to prepare result based M&E Framework, plan of the project on the basis of the project proposal and logical framework.
  • Develop project’s database system for periodic updates and assist the Implementing Partners for their involvement in database reporting.
  • Provide technical support to project as well as Implementing Partner on M&E related activities and approaches.
Job Specification: 
  • Bachelor degree in agriculture, management or relevant field with at least three (3) years of experience in development organizations in designing, implementing and overseeing M&E related task.
  • Experience of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
  • Experience in project(s) related coffee promotion, market development and cooperative development sector will be an added value.
