Vacancy for the Post of Senior Micro Finance Expert.

Positive Planet Nepal (The new name of PlaNet Finance) is looking for a Senior Micro Finance Expert (1 Year full time contract; renewable). The expert will be responsible for the following:
Responsiblity:

• Providing technical assistance and training for PlaNet Finance programs related to Microfinance in Nepal and in the region.
• Managing, monitoring and reporting for PlaNet Finance Technical Assistance programs in Nepal.
• Coordinating partners and managing program implemented by PlaNet Finance Nepal in Ilam district.
• Supporting the development of PlaNet Finance activities in Nepal, by identifying potential projects and partners, preparing proposals.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Management, Economics, or any other relevant disciplines.
• At least three years of working experiences as a Micro Finance practitioner or manager in Nepal.
• Practical experience and proven track record in organizing and delivering professional micro-finance training programmers and development of curricula and training materials.
• Good interpersonal skills and team player.
• Good report writing skills and fluency in English.
• Significant experience in project management is preferable.

Duty Station: Kathmandu with frequent visits in the districts, travels in Asia when necessary.
