Job Title: Knowledge Management and Research Specialist.
Contract Type: Service Contract
Contract Level: National Officer (SB-5, Peg-III)
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Contract Duration: One year with possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities: The Knowledge Management and Research Specialist will be responsible for strategic advice on research and data to the Senior Management Team with a particular focus on forecasting emerging research and data issues and fostering innovation in research, data and knowledge management. The Knowledge Management and Research Specialist will support the office to mobilize resources for UN Women's research and data work.
Required qualification and Experience: Master degree (or
equivalent) in social policy,sociology, political science, gender and development or related discipline with strong gender content. At least seven years of relevant work experience on gender and society policy.
