Vacancy in NSI

The Nick Simons Institute (NSI) is an organization working to improve health care of rural Nepal in collaboration with Ministry of Health and Population. We are seeking qualified Nepalese citizens to fill the following positions in an NSI supported district hospital.

Position : District Hospital Support Coordinator Number : 2 (Two)
Location: Head office, Lalitpur (with travel to multiple rural institutions)
Terms : Initially 1 year

Required Qualifications:

• Staff nurse or health assistant qualification
• Minimum of Bachelors in healthcare profession (incl. healthcare management)
• Experience working in/with Nepal government healthcare institutions
• Experience managing at program level in NGO/INGO
• Experience in HR management

Position : Staff Nurse Number: 3 (Three)
Location: NSI designated Government District Hospital
Terms : Initially 1 year

Required Qualifications:

• Staff Nurse from recognized Nursing College.
• Active Registration with Nepal Nursing Council
• Skilled Birth Attended (SBA) training
• At least 1 year of previous work experience
• Experience in OT nursing

Position : BMET (Biomedical Equipment Technician)
Number: 1 (One)
Location: BMET Unit, NHTC, Teku, Kathmandu with field visits
Terms : Initially 1 year

Required Qualifications:

• Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) Training or Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE)
• At least 1 year of previous work experience
