Position: DRR Officer

Term:
Fixed term till March 2017 for positions based in Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Gorkha, Nuwakot & Rasuwa and December 2016 for position based in Dhadhing.


Description: Responsible to work closely with district team to deliver planned activities including mainstreaming DRR and CCA in EQ programme; deliver DRR and CCA training and capacity building to multiple stakeholder as well as Implementing DRR programmes, coordinate district level teams and develop progress reports; work closely with implementing partner organizations, coordinate internally with DRR and Resilience and other team for development and delivery of DRR and Resilience projects and provide technical support for their implementation
 
Eligibility: Bachelors' Degree in disaster risk management, communication, planning, social science, natural resource management or other related discipline(s) with 3 years' experience in DRR and Humanitarian organizations or like minded organizations/l/NGOs (2 years* for application from GSI group)

*GSI group include Female, Dalit, Madhcsi, People with Disabilities and other indigenous/minorities
