VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT AGRICULTURE VALUE CHAINS & DISTRICT OFFICER

The RAP3 programme, managed by the UK-based development consulting firm IMC Worldwide, is seeking to recruit an Agriculture Value Chains & District Officer for the RAP3 Connect component based in the RAP3 Dailekh District Office. 

Key Responsibilities will include managing all Connect activities in Dailekh district and specific responsibility for guiding on market and value chains analysis and market systems development related work across all Connect activities in its 5 focus districts. 

Requirement: The candidate should have a Master's Degree in Social/Agriculture Science/Business Administration with at least 5 years of work experience (private or development sectors with familiarity in PMSD/MSD/M4P approaches), enjoy fieldwork and engaging with government and local communities. 

Candidates will need to have strong numeracy and communication skills, excellent levels of written and spoken English and Nepali, and should be highly proficient in the use of IT tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

Candidates with prior experience working in the Mid and Far West Development Region of Nepal preferred.
